Inclusive Work Culture and Equal Opportunity Policy

1. Introduction and Objective

FlaggGRC Techlabs LLP is committed to maintaining a healthy, safe, clean, and productive work environment free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. This policy reflects our commitment to ethical conduct, respect for all individuals, and equal opportunities across the Organisation. All efforts will be made to maintain confidentiality. Complaints can be made without fear of retaliation and will be investigated via mechanisms provided in this Policy.

This Policy aligns with relevant Indian laws including:

  • HIV and AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act, 2017
  • Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016
  • Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019
  • Equal Remuneration Act, 1976
  • Maharashtra Shops and Establishments Act, 2017

2. Scope

This policy applies to all individuals associated with FlaggGRC, including employees, interns, retainers, and consultants. It covers recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, compensation, benefits, discipline, working conditions, and termination.

3. Guidelines and Principles

  • Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination: No discrimination based on race, caste, religion, gender identity, disability, HIV/AIDS, or other characteristics.
  • Workplace Facilities and Accessibility: Ensures fair access to facilities for all, including those with disabilities.
  • Working Conditions, Health and Safety: Safe, clean environment with proper lighting, ventilation, and first-aid.
  • Anti-Harassment and Anti-Retaliation: All forms of harassment and retaliation are prohibited and subject to disciplinary action.

4. Process for Complaints and Redressal

  • Filing a Complaint: Submit in writing to the Grievance Officer with supporting evidence.
  • Whistleblowing and Hotline: Confidential channels for reporting.
  • Conciliation: Voluntary and without monetary settlement.
  • Inquiry and Disciplinary Action: Formal inquiry ensures justice. Violations result in appropriate actions.
  • Duties of the Complainant: Provide truthful and complete information.
  • Malicious Complaints: May lead to disciplinary action if proven false with intent.

5. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Employees / Interns / Retainers: Understand and follow policy, attend training, use complaint mechanism, maintain confidentiality.
  • Manager / Team Leader: Escalate issues, promote inclusive culture.
  • HR and Admin Head: Ensure policy awareness and neutrality in complaints.
  • Grievance Officer: Record, acknowledge, and act on complaints.
  • Founders, CEO, Organisation: Uphold policy, enforce accountability.

6. Amendments and Policy Versioning

This is version 1 (v1) and shall be reviewed annually or when required by law or internal processes.

8. Implementation and Review

  • Policy implemented across office and virtual environments.
